Project goal and starting point
We began our cooperation with OpenMed by providing technical support for their existing website built on WordPress. After a thorough analysis of its technical condition and a discussion of our findings with the client, we decided to build a new website — tailored to current and future business needs and technological standards.
The previous website generated only 300–600 visits per month, which did not reflect the brand’s true potential. We determined that it was necessary to design a new site with SEO development and better search engine positioning in mind.
At the same time, there was a need to create an effective communication channel with patients — a place where medical facilities could easily publish news, announcements, and important informations.
The new website was also intended to support a modern and professional image for the OpenMed brand, reflecting the high standard of medical services provided.
Analysis and Design Process
At the start of our collaboration, we took a close look at the client’s business model, their needs, and the patient journey — from how people discover the website to how they decide to book a visit.
Based on this, we developed a functional design and technical specification for the new website, taking into account the structure of subpages, key functionalities, and an information architecture designed to maximize conversions.
We refined the initial project assumptions together with the OpenMed team during workshops — adapting content, communication style, and information hierarchy to the real needs of patients and the specifics of the medical industry.
The website was designed with future scaling in mind — considering both the planned dynamic growth of the client’s business and the potential need for integration with external systems (e.g., registration or medical systems).
Technology
We used a modern technology stack based on Gatsby.js, which enables prerendering of the site and guarantees very fast loading as well as excellent conditions for SEO.
As a CMS, we implemented WordPress, which allows convenient management of blog and informational content, while data about doctors and price lists is dynamically fetched from a dedicated application created especially for OpenMed.
The entire solution was launched in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment and performance and security are ensured by CloudFlare — with an active CDN network and application layer security.
We also integrated an advanced set of analytics tools, enabling detailed monitoring of traffic, user behavior, and conversions, which allows us to regularly optimize the site for business effectiveness.
Final Result
The website we built not only met the initial assumptions but also became real support for the development of OpenMed’s business and marketing activities.
The website successfully passed the test of scaling — it seamlessly expanded with new services, specializations, features, and dozens of additional subpages, and thanks to its flexible architecture, it remains easy to develop further.
The website also underwent two stages of rebranding — first a soft rebranding, then a full rebranding — and in both cases maintained high performance and intuitive operation.
As part of the site’s development, we also added a multilingual version (English and Polish).
Currently, it is visited by over 10,000 users per month, and since its launch, the conversion rate has increased by 43.32%.
The website effectively turns visitors into patients, supporting the daily work of the facilities and strengthening the professional image of the brand.

The moment of launching the new website is marked with a red arrow.
What’s Next?
We have been working continuously with OpenMed for over 5 years, acting as a trusted technology partner. We provide ongoing technical support and maintenance, ensure the reliable operation of the website, and develop the brand’s entire digital ecosystem.
The website is constantly evolving — we regularly add new features, expand it with additional content and modules, and provide strategic advice on both technological and marketing matters.
We support the client in daily operations and in planning future steps that help increase the visibility and effectiveness of online activities.
Conclusions
This cooperation has once again shown us how important a well-designed, fast, and scalable website is — especially in industries where trust and a professional image are essential.
For us as a technology partner, it is confirmation that a website is not a cost — but an investment and the foundation of effective marketing, sales, and operational activities. When designed properly, it can support a company’s growth for many years.
